The Emergency Food and Shelter Local Board for Oklahoma, Canadian and McClain Counties met on April 22,  2024 and reviewed your agency’s application for Phase 41 funding from the Emergency Food and Shelter  National Board Program. I am happy to inform you that the Local Board decided to recommend to the National  Board an award of $20,000 to Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City, Inc.

The Phase 41 award is to be used as follows:

• $10,000 Rent/Mortgage Assistance
• $10,000 Utility Assistance

Once the National Board has approved the Local Board’s recommendation; you will receive an official  notification of the award and an electronic deposit confirmation for one-half of the award amount. Additionally  you will receive your LRO Certification via email. This certification must be signed in order to receive funding.

You will need to fill out a Phase 41 Interim LRO Report and Second Payment Request Form on the EFSP  website following receipt of first payment notice. This form must be completed via the EFSP website and  signed with DocuSign. You may submit this no later than November 13, 2024. (Note: You should request the  second half before you spend the entire first half, and may request the second payment immediately after receipt  of first half).

All LROs may charge back EFSP eligible expenditures for which they have EFSP required expenditure  documentation to support expenditures during the jurisdiction’s selected spending period. The Phase 41 spending period decided on by our Local Board is from October 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024.

Please remember that all documentation for Phases 39, ARPAR, 40, and 41 should be kept separate from each  other.

The Phase 40 Responsibilities and Requirements manual will be available soon on the EFSP website. This  manual provides detailed information on how to comply with the federal regulations of this program and how to  keep appropriate documentation. Please review the manual carefully and ensure that all staff is aware of the  rules and documentation requirements, as your agency may be selected to provide documentation with final  reports.
