The Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City (ULOKC) is thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to implement a $45,000 scholarship program for nontraditional students. Oklahoma City Community Foundation has partnered with Urban League Workforce Scholars Program because of their commitment to our community and belief in the ULOKC’s mission.  This scholarship program is designed to meet Oklahoma’s most significant employment gaps and accelerate our community’s goals for workforce development. Through education and training, the ULOKC prepares Oklahoma City community members for job placement and higher living wages.  The ULOKC Workforce Scholarship program will allow us to provide direct scholarships to at-risk populations for career or technical training, skills, and college.

Eligible scholarship recipients will receive up to $2,450 toward annual tuition, fees, books, and expenses at an accredited college, university, or career/vocational-technical school.

Each student will be selected based on their letters of reference, individual career plan, and demonstration of financial need. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States to qualify.

Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted online with all required documents attached by March 31, 2024. Incomplete applications will not be considered for approval. Funds are limited.
