School Age Community After School STEM Reading Center operates as a 4 star DHS licensed facility. We accept DHS subsidy payment (contract #28437) and private payment of $52 weekly. The program offers a learning environment where students from kindergarten through 6th  grade feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable to network with their peers. The program incorporates the science of hope model to provide support, resources, and services to improve Oklahoma children and families’ outcomes.

When attending the program on full-day schedules, the students will receive breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack that meets USDA nutritional guidelines. Meals are provided daily through our contracted partnership with the Oklahoma City Regional Food Bank. When attending the Out of School program, students will receive a well-balanced dinner before heading home for the day. The Urban League can only provide transportation for the 2023-2024 school year to the listed schools: Thelma Parks, MLK, Wilson, Millwood Elementary, and W K Jackson Learning Academy.

Grades Kindergarten – 6 (children must be enrolled in school)

Hours of Operation

In School Days: Monday – Friday | 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Out of School Days: Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Tuition

Tuition is $52 per student per week. Payment is due weekly. Tuition includes snacks, transportation, and curriculum.

Transportation
