families department focuses on supplemental education and
supportive family services for students that attend high
poverty, low performing schools. Priorities include:

Center provides daily after-school academic enrichment
activities and homework assistance to students grades pre-K
through 6. Students participate in skills-building exercises and
structured play that promotes self-confidence and healthy
living. The Center also provides
full day enrichment academies to enhance the academic
experience for students while they are out of school.
Project Ready Mentoring
Project
Ready Mentoring provides students ages 11 to 18 with weekly
activities that promote positive behaviors and academic
excellence. Students receive ongoing support from their mentor,
peers and program staff. Students participate in fun activities,
college tours, youth leadership workshops, community events and
academic improvement exercises.
