EVENTS
The Urban League of Greater Oklahoma
City conducts four special events throughout the year.
These events help to advance the organization's mission,
publicize achievements, raise vital funds and acknowledge the
contributions made in advocating the cause of equality.
Annual events include:
Annual Gala - The Urban
League’s signature event where attendees gather to enjoy a
reception, silent auction, a celebration of agency achievements
and world-class entertainment.
Golf Classic - An
18-hole scramble benefiting Urban League youth programs and
services.
Equal Opportunity Summit - a
two-day event that features a career & empowerment expo and an
advocacy and awards luncheon. The luncheon educates corporate
and civic leaders on challenges to achieving social and economic
equality and honors local equal opportunity advocates. The
career expo puts equal opportunity into action by connecting
major employers with a diverse population of applicants.
